DODY Stack Pte. Ltd. ("DODY Stack", "we", "us") operates DODY Jobs, Africa's AI-powered hiring platform. We are incorporated in Singapore with operations in Accra, Ghana. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use DODY Jobs at dodyjobs.com and related services, including Afia on web and WhatsApp.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number (including WhatsApp), profile photo (if provided via Google sign-in), and authentication identifiers.
  • CV and career data: work experience, education, skills, certifications, languages, summary, and documents you upload or build in the CV builder.
  • Job search activity: searches, saved jobs, applications, job alerts, interview practice sessions, and interactions with Afia (web and WhatsApp).
  • Employer data: company name, contact details, job postings, and application materials submitted by candidates.
  • Payment data: transaction references processed by Moolre. We do not store full card or mobile-money credentials on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs for security, rate limiting, and service improvement.

2. How we use your data

  • Match you with relevant job opportunities using your CV, profile, and search preferences.
  • Power Afia, our AI career agent, to provide personalised advice, CV help, and interview coaching.
  • Enable employer discovery of qualified candidates (with appropriate privacy controls).
  • Send job alerts, application updates, and service notifications via WhatsApp and email.
  • Process subscriptions and employer job-post payments.
  • Improve platform security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party service providers

We share data with trusted processors only as needed to operate DODY Jobs:

  • Anthropic — AI processing for Afia (conversations, CV suggestions, interview evaluation). Prompts may include CV and career context you provide.
  • Twilio — WhatsApp messaging, OTP verification, and job alert delivery.
  • Moolre — payment processing for Pro subscriptions and employer job posts (Ghana mobile money and cards).
  • Apify and public job sources — aggregated job listing data; we do not send your personal data to job boards.
  • Upstash, hosting, and email providers — caching, rate limiting, infrastructure, and transactional email.

We require processors to handle data securely and only for the purposes we specify. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and CV data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we soft-delete your profile and cease active processing, subject to legal retention requirements for payments and fraud prevention.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information via your profile or by contacting us.
  • Delete your account and associated data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Export your CV and profile data (PDF/DOCX export via Afia or the CV builder).
  • Object to certain processing, including marketing communications.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, rate limiting, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we continuously work to protect your data.

7. Children

DODY Jobs is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in Singapore, Ghana, and other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
