Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DODY Jobs, operated by DODY Stack Pte. Ltd. ("DODY Stack", "we", "us"). By accessing or using DODY Jobs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service description
DODY Jobs is an AI-powered hiring platform for job seekers and employers in Africa. Services include job search and matching, CV building, Afia AI career coaching, interview practice, employer job posting, candidate discovery, and related features via web and WhatsApp.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. Employers represent that they have authority to post jobs on behalf of their organisation. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.
3. User accounts and responsibilities
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
- CVs, applications, and messages you submit must be truthful and not misleading.
- You may not use DODY Jobs for spam, harassment, fraud, scraping at scale, or circumventing access controls.
- You may not misuse Afia to generate harmful, illegal, or discriminatory content.
4. Employer posting rules and moderation
- Job listings must describe real, open positions with accurate titles, locations, and requirements.
- We prohibit discriminatory listings, pyramid schemes, unpaid exploitative "internships", and misleading compensation.
- All employer posts are subject to human review. We may approve, reject, edit, or remove listings at our discretion.
- Approved listings may expire automatically. Employers must not repost rejected roles without addressing violations.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Paid features (Pro subscriptions, Jobs+ access, employer job posts) are billed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Moolre (mobile money and cards). Prices are shown at checkout; applicable taxes may apply.
- Subscriptions renew according to the plan selected unless cancelled before renewal.
- Refunds are handled case-by-case in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
- We may change pricing with notice; existing paid periods are honoured until expiry.
6. AI-generated content (Afia)
Afia provides career guidance, CV suggestions, and interview feedback using artificial intelligence. Outputs are informational only — not legal, financial, or employment guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing CVs, cover letters, and application materials before submission. We do not guarantee hiring outcomes.
7. Intellectual property
- DODY Jobs, Afia, branding, software, and platform content are owned by DODY Stack or its licensors.
- You retain ownership of CVs and content you submit. You grant us a licence to use that content to operate and improve the service (matching, display to employers you apply to, AI coaching).
- Job listings from third-party sources remain subject to their respective terms; DODY Jobs aggregates publicly available listings.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using DODY Jobs, you consent to that processing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DODY Stack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or GHS 100, whichever is greater.
DODY Jobs is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose, except where such exclusions are prohibited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to users or the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For users resident in Ghana, mandatory consumer protection laws of Ghana apply where they cannot be waived. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing that, courts in Singapore or Accra, Ghana (as appropriate to the party and claim) shall have jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
